How we judged (and our bias)
This is a vendor-written comparison — Manva builds one of these products. To keep it useful anyway: every claim about a competitor is checkable on their public site, we say clearly where each rival WINS, and the criteria are published: (1) what the AI actually produces, (2) total first-year cost in rupees, (3) India commerce fit (UPI/COD/GST/shipping), (4) Indian language support, (5) what happens AFTER the site exists — because a website is day one, running it is every day after. 1. Manva — best overall for Indian SMBs
What the AI produces: a complete multi-page website with store, blog, legal pages and SEO, designed per business. Cost: ₹999 one-time + assistant from ₹149/mo. 2. Hostinger Website Builder — best pure budget
~₹99/month with hosting, quick AI draft, decent editor. Output is template-grade and the store is basic — but nothing else gets you online this cheap with real hosting behind it. Wins when: budget is the only criterion.
3. Wix (ADI + editor) — best manual design control
The strongest drag-and-drop editor in the business, huge template library, solid apps. AI assists rather than designs; India tooling (UPI/COD/GST) is weak and pricing is global. Wins when: you enjoy building and tweaking yourself. Full comparison.
4. Framer — best for design-forward brands
Beautiful, modern sites with real design polish; growing AI tooling. Skews to portfolios/startups; commerce and India-stack are not the point. Wins when: the site IS the product (studios, creators, SaaS).
5. Durable — fastest one-pager
Genuinely 30-seconds-to-draft. Great for a services one-pager; thin for stores, no India specifics. Wins when: you need SOMETHING live in the next ten minutes.
6. 10Web — best for WordPress people
AI builds a real WordPress site (with hosting), so you keep the WP ecosystem. You also keep WP's maintenance overhead. Wins when: you're committed to WordPress but want the AI head start.
7. Shopify (with Magic/AI features) — best at scale, least 'AI-built'
Shopify's AI writes copy and assists inside your theme — it doesn't design your site. As a PLATFORM it's the strongest here at scale; as an AI BUILDER it's the weakest fit for this list. Real cost ₹4,000–15,000/mo (the math). Wins when: big catalog, big ambitions, real budget.
